Vicar Martin Baldock
Martin was originally a Pharmacist, before becoming a priest. He is married to Sue, who is also a Pharmacist. They have 3 children, Emma, Rebecca and Zoe. The family's first years following Martin's ordination were spent in Nailsea, South West England where he was curate. The family then moved to Brampton, near Rotherham, where Martin was vicar for 11 years. They arrived in York in 2000. Martin is interested in many sports, having played a lot of hockey in the past, but is a particular fan of Luton Town football club, the team of his home town.

Curate Susan Collier
Susan was a GP (General Practitioner) as well as a mother. Susan is married to Peter, a QC and has 2 sons, both of whom have left home. As the children grew, she became Director of the St. Leonard's Hospice in York. However, she left to retrain as a priest, being ordained curate in 1999. Since then she has been a Non-Stipendary Minister at St. Edwards. Before becoming a minister and joining St. Edward's, Susan was a member of St. Michael le Belfrey church in the centre of York, where her husband continued until recently as a Churchwarden.

Readers
Readers are lay members of the church and have had training in the life of the Church of England. They are licenced by the church to carry out certain activities not permitted for the ordinary congregation to carry out.

Charles Anelay
Charles was a local boy and is now one of the directors of a family firm of builders "William Anelay and Sons Ltd." He is married to Angela, a musician, and they have three children, Thomas, Richard and Sarah. Besides having an involvement in the pastoral organisation of the church and participating in services, Charles has also been an instigator of courses to increase the understanding of current members of the church of their faith, and to awaken a faith in those not originally members of St. Edward's or any church.

Gill Myers
Originally from Dewsbury, Gill Myers has lived and worshipped in Dringhouses for over 25 years, and been a Reader since 1991. Originally she taught in the local Fulford school, but for the last 9 years she has worked for the York Alzheimer's Society, where she is now Branch Manager. She sees her work with people whose lives are affected with dementia as a vital part of her Reader Ministry. Gill has two grown up children, Chris, who works for Network Rail and is one of the Junior Youth Club Leaders and Liz, who is a physiotherapist.

Michael Sergent
Michael Sergent is a retired secondary school teacher. During his National Service Michael learnt to drive coaches and has retained his licence ever since. Besides being useful for the school when he was working, this has proved very useful for St. Edward's when it organises a trip out.
