We are going to run an Alpha course, starting on Thursday April 10th. Alpha is for anyone who wants to think some more about life and Christian faith - those looking for meaning, the partly convinced, the not at all convinced, and those who want to think again.
We will be meeting each week for supper, to listen to a talk, and to have time to discuss.
This year there are about 35,000 courses running for 10 million people all round the world. Many people of all ages and stages of life have found it a great way to take time to take stock, explore ideas and find new friendship and encouragement.
The course is a practical and contemporary introduction to the Christian faith and provides a relaxed and informal opportunity for participants to make up their own mind about Christianity. It is constructed around one meeting a week for ten weeks and has become increasingly successful in the UK over the last 10 years.
All are very welcome to join us. The course is for all who are interested - past contact with the church is not at all necessary.
