St. Edward's is a welcoming, active and lively church seeking to worship God and be a centre of community in the Dringhouses area. In addition to regular Sunday services (8.30 am, 10 am & 6.30 pm) there are many other activities, some of which are listed in appropriate sections of this guide. You can find us at the junction of Tadcaster Road and St. Helen's Road, opposite the Cross Keys and next to the Holiday Inn.

St. James the Deacon anglican church is a friendly place where people of all ages (singly or in families) come together to worship God.
Worship is offered in a variety of ways during each week:
- Daily Morning and Evening Prayer are sung to gregorian chant (9 am and 5.30 pm, not Fri; 10 am and 6 pm on Sat)
- Separate weekday celebrations of Holy Communion are offered for parents with young children (Tue 10 am) and for those wanting a quiet contemplative service (Wed 9.30 am)
- Once a month there is half an hour of Prayer and Meditation with Taize singing (first Mon, 8 pm)
- The Sunday Parish Eucharist at 10 am sums up all our worship and is friendly and relaxed but also dignified and reverent.

West Thorpe Methodist Church is a congregation of friendly and welcoming Christians worshipping in a fifties-style multi-purpose building.
Sunday Worship is at 10.30 am and 6.30 pm; Sunday Club at 10.30 am is for children aged five and over. They join with the congregation for the first 15 minutes of the Morning Service and then go to their own bible based activities.
Several fellowship groups which meet during the week and other activities from Line Dancing to Playgroups are detailed elsewhere in the guide.
Everyone will find a very warm welcome.

A Christian Church based in York which exists to introduce people to God who will do them good!
The Ark meets at the
Foxwood Community Centre, Cranfield Place, Bellhouse Way on Sundays for worship at 10.30 am. On Saturdays there are Children's Drama Workshops at 9.30 am for ages 8 to 11 and at 10.45 am for ages 11 - 15.
Also Wednesday evenings at
West Thorpe Methodist Church, West Thorpe, Dringhouses at 7.30 pm. for prayer.
