St. Edward’s is an active, lively Christian Church, seeking to worship God and be a centre of community in the Dringhouses area of York. Our wide range of church services and activities, are of particular interest to families with children.
The church building is normally open 5 days a week from 10am to 5pm for visitors. You are very welcome to visit.

Living our lives as Christians in the 21st Century, guided by the Bible, Church teaching, life experience, and mutual discovery.We worship God the Father through Jesus his Son – our Saviour and Lord – enabled and guided by his Holy Spirit. Sunday Services
8.30 am - Quiet Communion service lasting 40 - 45 minutes 10.00 am - Family Communion Service, an informal service for all ages with crèche for the under-5’s and children's groups taking place concurrently. Family (non-communion) Service on the first Sunday of the month. 6.30 pm - Evening Service. On the first Sunday communion with prayers for healing. Other weeks there is a fairly formal service from the Common Worship range. 11.30 am (1st Sunday) A traditional, said, Book of Common Prayer communion.
